Lars Worldwide Automotive opened in May of 2000. When it comes to service, some might say we’re old-fashioned, but as far as technology goes, we’re totally up-to-date. Our experience, quality work, and diagnostic capabilities have earned us a large customer base, and we’re always welcoming to new customers. We do all we can to keep our name and reputation among the best in the Mokena area.
Meet Our Team
Lars started working on small engines at the age of 7, and started working on tractors (repairing and driving them) when he was 14. From there, he was working on cars, so all in all he’s been working on cars for about 34 years. When he was 21, he started at the dealership-level, and progressed to the Jaguar car line when he was 28.
Two years later, Lars was promoted to service manager, handling all aspects of the business (i.e. dispatching work, overseeing three to four techs, appointments, warranty audits, coordinating with the parts department, customer service, cashiering, extended warranties, and more). When he became aware that the dealer would eventually discontinue its Jaguar franchise, Lars decided to open his own repair shop.
Lars is usually involved in the everyday operations up-front, and keeps communication flowing throughout the shop. He is friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to talk to customers—who he treats like family.
Danielle, Service Writer
Danielle is our friendly service writer who is always cheerful and loves talking to customers. Her goal is to make sure you understand the repairs being performed on your vehicle, and that you’re satisfied with the results. Danielle is also an excellent mediator between the front and back of the shop.
Jim has been working in the automotive industry for more than 20 years, and he’s been with Lars Worldwide Automotive for about 6 years. He’s friendly and willing to talk to customers, so if you’re looking for a thorough explanation of a repair, he’s your tech.
